Brookhaven update
I grew up going to U-Totem and really enjoyed buying my candy, Cracked and Mad magazines, while also playing the first Super Mario Bros arcade from Nintendo when I was there
Ok, in the video showing Alexandria Ocasio Cortez dancing to this, she plays the “role” that Alley Sheedy plays here. Got it.
Never forget all 6 Ghostbusters on board 8 Truck that lost their lives on September 11th 2001 while operating at Manhattan box 5-5-8087. The FDNY Ghostbusters along with the guys from Duane Street (Engine 7 Ladder 1 and Battalion 1) along with Engine 10 and 10 Truck as well as Engine 55 Engine 6 and a number of other engine and ladder companies in Lower Manhattan were the first to arrive on scene at the World Trade Center.
Mad had a MAJOR impact on my sense of humor in the '90s. As a kid I used to "collect" them (in other words, I'd buy issues from the grocery store thinking they were going to be worth $$$ as collector items); still have those old mid 90s issues. I'll always be grateful to Mad because it was a gateway drug to things like MST3K/Rifftrax/Cinematic Titanic and the Naked Gun movies.
Later generations will have no clue about the cultural significance that Mad magazine and Peanuts had, esp. through the 60s the 70s.
What🎉
No ones talking abt their house 💀

Also do you plan on creating another amazing choose your own adventure game?? This game has saved me in my times of anxiety and depression, it calms me back down.
Is there any possible way to not run into the sorceress lady who asks for food or water and gives u the evil medallion?
The founder passed away.
my experience with MAD was from the 60s and early 70s, never seen anything from 80s,,interesting, and thanks for reminding me of Cracked
You mean that’s THE ECTO 1
Very sad to see Mad go. A cultural icon. Someday.....the world will re-discover physical magazines and newspapers.
Mad magazine helped all of us young kids to read!!! You will be missed, educationally, culturally and historically !
If I was one of the kids I would be like “I am 100 Percent dreaming rn”
Claptrap is a great book for anyone who loves Mad magazine!!! Desmond Devlin and Tom Richmond made a modern masterpiece of satire!!!
Always remembered their NO SACRED COWS policy towards all forms of pop culture. My earliest MAD memory was around 1991 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Visiting my grandparents out there, my mom and grandma took me to the local Weis Supermarket. What caught my eye as I looked towards the magazine racks? Yup, MAD Magazine. Never got my mom to buy it. Just snuck a quick look inside. Got to look at a parody of THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR! Ah, memories...❤
How long is the Quest from end to end?
not the furry jedi
The first issue of MAD to fall into my grubby little hands was no. 266, the "Hot TV Issue," back in 1986. It was purchased from a little grocery store store magazine rack (no doubt as Mom rolled her eyes) for a long family drive up to Niagara Falls, during which I wrung the rag for every tiny detail; [sigh] I remember so much about that trip: _The Lighter Side Of...,_ _Spy vs. Spy,_ _Snappy Answers...,_ oh, and some big dumb waterfall.
It's cute until you realize he killed younglings...
Ecto-1!!!!
I was born in '78 and Ghostbusters was a huge part of my childhood. The original movie (1984) the animated series (1986-1991) and Ghostbusters II (1989) Extreme Ghostbusters (1997) I still have all of my merchandise that I've kept since I was a kid. I even have an empty can of Heinz The Real Ghostbusters pasta way back in the early 90's. I've held on to it for 30+ years.
New issues are still coming out in comic book stores, and there’s original content in it too
Pretty videos i vant groeing like you 😢
I’m 8 years old, and I’m shocked when I see this.

Ah, good times, before Disney.
Too bad mad magazine went away, there is a ton of material now days in the Political world, and that clown called the American President! My HS teachers used to take them away from, so I had to purchase another one!
Fonebone and Portzebie, forever ♥ !!! 😂
